I just finished releasing the wikimedia extra
<https://github.com/wikimedia/search-extra> Elasticsearch plugin (versions
1.3.0 and 1.4.0). This release adds two things:
1. Elasticsearch 1.4.0 support (in the 1.4.0 version)
2. A new ```safer``` query (in 1.4.0 and 1.3.0 versions). This query
attempts to degrade expensive things like large phrase queries into
cheaper, less precise things. Its pretty configurable. And you can extend
it to handle your own custom queries. You can read more about it here
<https://github.com/wikimedia/search-extra/blob/master/docs/safer.md>.

I skipped a few version numbers so I'd line up with Elasticsearch version
numbers. It felt like the right thing to do.
