I'm considering to use the context suggester to autocomplete some user
specific categories. The idea here is that users can create their own tags
and should see only suggestions for their own tags.

One solution is to use the complettion suggester with a context and use the
userId as the category. However, I'm wondering how that scales with the
number of users. Is there any guidance on using this solution with a large
number of categories? The idea would be that I would have a large number of
users with possibly thousands of unique suggestions each.

Is this the right solution or do I need to look at using e.g. edge n-grams
with a term filter on the user_id?
