Hi, I have found what the issue is. In the version of elasticsearch that I am running the "now()" in the alias is evaluated at alias creation not at alias run time per: https://github.com/elastic/elasticsearch/issues/8474.
As we are not going to upgrade our production system at this time does anyone know a way to work around this?
