Hey Zelfapp(?) Nate(?), You are facing a challenge that many search developers have come across. Sounds like a search relevancy problem. The search engine isn't Google out of the box with all its psychic intuitiveness of what users want. It's a tool to create a user experience for users for your content. It requires very specific tuning and analysis.
Anyway, my colleague John Berryman and I are writing a book <http://manning.com/turnbull> on this subject that focuses on making search results for your search app more intuitive. You might find that useful: http://manning.com/turnbull Yes I'm a consultant too -- feel free to ping me directly over email if you want help. My company's site: http://opensourceconnections.com Other consulting firms that come to mind include: Sematext http://sematext.com Search Technologies http://www.searchtechnologies.com/ Cheers -Doug On Mon, Apr 27, 2015 at 1:58 PM, Zelfapp <n...@usamm.com> wrote: > I'm looking for a consultant to coach us on how to map our data and what > queries we should use for our particular data.
