Sorry, but you don't even mention what the differences between your custom carrier board and the STK8xx board might be. How could we even guess then what might be wrong in yoru configuration? Please also note that you are running very old versions of the software. Any reason why you don't use for example U-Boot v2010.09 and Linux 2.6.36 ?
