This is the documentation for the old, (Version 4.x) ELDk releases;
the information has not been updated for more than 2 years, which
explains the old distro versions - nevertheless, even the old ELDK 4.x
releases run just fine on all recent Linux distros (Fedora, Debian,
Ubuntu etc.).

The same applies tm ELDK 5.x; we use it ourself on Fedora 16 and 17
as well as on Ubuntu 10.04 and 12.04 LTS machines.
