I know the meta-java layer for openJDK. I am missing what is the
advantage to get it into the ELDK-tree. The patch introduces a new
meta-* (meta-java), exactly as the code on
git://github.com/woglinde/meta-java. Usually I add it to my own
bblayers.conf instead of merging in the current tree. Why do we need to
force it into eldk-tree ? In this way, we lose also the GIT history,
that we have on meta-java, and we cannot use meta-java from the github
repository.

I am also missing if you changed something from the original meta-java
and from which commit-id you took the sources.

Best regards,
Stefano Babic
