Hi Wolfgang:

The compilers used in ELDK V5.5 and v5.5.x (and even v5.6) have known issues at

blacklist it, see [1].

So I doubt your problems will go away when moving from ELDK v5.5 to v5.5.2; if
you cannot fall back to ELDK v5.4 (gcc 4.7.2) you will have to wait for ELDk
v5.7 (gcc 4.9.1).

Just to understand your statement correctly: do you recommend to use ELDK 5.4
for the PowerPC instead of ELDK 5.5.x (I'm working with the Freescale MPC5200
and the QorIQ P2020 processors)?

Does this apply to the kernel only, or also to user-space software, or to
u-boot?

Thanks in advance,
Albrecht.
