Hi Jay It's been a while since we have had a VHF contact. Maybe 6M will open for us soon.
I found that the delay on the K2 is not long enough to hold the sequencers in CW mode. SSB works just fine even running WSJT and ect. What I did was wire the sequencers with a foot switch to activate. If you hit the key (I am running 1watt into a attenuator) you are not going to hurt anything. I also have separate TR lines. As an added measure of insurance I am running a small 12v relay on the key lines that is powered by the sequencer power switch and deactivated by the last sequenced relay. As far as disabling the Mic I am not sure what you are after. I have the amp key line out of the K2 also connected to the sequencers and never had a problem. I am saving for the band decoder so that it will power one of the 4 sequencers and related equipment when I switch bands. Hope this helps a bit Jerry K7YVZ ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jay Kesterson" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, June 05, 2004 11:01 AM Subject: Re: [Elecraft] K2 is break-in only on CW??
