In previous discussions on this reflector I have read that the 50 Hz change when 100 Hz is selected is a "Design Feature." If you listen very carefully, or if you look at a display of WWV with Spectrogram or any PSK display you will see that when you turn the knob very slowly that it actually changes if 50 Hz steps but only shows 100 Hz increments.
