Folks,

This IS the "N6KR method" that I have become so fond of (add an 'l' to the
link below).  Wayne was the originator of this method and Tom has done a
good job of documenting it.

I will still stick with my favored method of observing zero beat (looking at
the tone frequencies with Spectrogram) because it takes my ears and eyes out
of the picture and allows me to get within 3 Hz of zero beat.  I realize
that Wayne is trying to achieve a 'no added equipment required' flavor to
it, but for me, the added equipment makes it easier and more certain - YMMV.
