Hello all, I just completed the ARRL Emergency Communications course and it started me thinking more seriously about emcomm.
I searched through the list archives and couldn't find any comments about using the K2/100 for emcomm HF work. It seems it would make a good HF emcomm rig. Compact, low current draw during receive, etc. I would like to hear comments from anyone out there using a K2/100 as part of an emcomm "go kit" or for portable or fixed emergency communications.
