Love 40 meters! Always open to somewhere from East Central Indiana. It's fun to listen to 40 meters after local sundown and hear the states west of the Mississippi start rolling in. After 0300 the entire western US is reachable on a few watts.

I enjoy 20 meters because I never know where it will be open to....could be EU, could be KS, could be anywhere. I hang out around the FISTS calling freq of 14058 kHz. Always someone there to QSO with.

I visited Trev's (K6ESE) website and looked at some of the items he purchased from "The Radio Room." Gosh, I hope that one day 40 years from now I will be such a QRP legend that they manufacture coffee mugs, lunch boxes and t-shirts with my picture on them (ASHTABULA BILL).
