If I could only receive down to 3.5MHz I could leave only it hooked up by my bedside for nighttime SSB/AM listening.
I wonder, would a VLF upconverter convert 3.5 - 4.0 MHz up to 6.5 - 7.0 MHz with a 3 MHz crystal? I suppose I would just have to change the input filter from a low-pass to a band-pass and the mixer would do the rest.
