A couple months ago someone asked about different capacitors and their use in the Elecraft products. I think this all started when someone was doing a mod or upgrade and wanted to know if a certain type of capacitor he had in his junk box would work. There were numerous responses but this months issue of RadCom (RSGB Magazine), there is an excellent article on the actual make up and construction of various types of capacitors and their reasons and uses. If you don't get RadCom definitely find someone who does and read this article. RadCom is an excellent Amateur Radio Magazine and I cherish it ton's more than my QST each month. 73, Gregg R.
