As many have done, I take my K2 (QRP version) with me when I travel for work and look for DX in the evening. On Aug 25, I worked France, Croatia and Spain using the K2 from the 3rd floor of a Motel in Norfolk, Va using a PAC-12 vertical poked outside the window horizontally. I get good signal reports running only 10 watts. I am continually amazed how well I get out. The K2 is a blast.
