Hi

If you are getting a OL display on your meter and you are in autoranging or on
a range that can measure greater than the resistance called out in the manual
then you are OK.

Subject: [Elecraft] K2 Front Board Resistance check

Front board is complete and on page 27 of the K2 manual all of the U1 pins
check within limits as well as the ground points at J1 pin 8, and J1 pin 20.
Also pins 15 thru 19 of J1 check out good too. My question is that I am using
a Fluke 87IV and when I check the remaining pins with supposedly values >50k or
>1M I get a OL , over limit indication on the instrument. Is this OK
....should I be getting some sort of value in excess of the stated resistances?

  Thanks Guys,

  Steve
