I was asked to re-post some Amp/Tyco cross reference information for the 
contact sockets used in the Weller soldering iron handles (using the EC234 
heater assembly - EC1201 & TC201P / T irons).

The contact socket pins crimp to the lead wires and are inserted into the black 
plastic assembly at the top of the handle.

This AMP/Tyco connector assembly is also used with other soldering stations 
(iron plugs for Weller EC series and Pace soldering / desoldering stations and 
irons).  I have not closely examined a Haako station (e.g. 936) to see what 
connector series they are currently using.

Shop around for a better price if you need this tool. 
I purchased mine several years ago at a much cheaper price (Mouser?)
A bobbie pin is suggested as an economical alternative (even in the Weller Tech 
Notes).
