We In Ireland (EI) have been granted access since the 20th of October, However our regulator didn't see fit to actually publish the info anywhere public and the comreg web site hasn't been updated yet, it has however been 'published' It's a well hidden document, the website still links to version 3 and we are now on version 5, elsewhere on the comreg website version 1 (complete with errors) is still available. http://www.comreg.ie/_fileupload/publications/ComReg0277R5.pdf I had to guess the URL to find the above document!
I rang the regulator this morning in light of the Uk announcment which is how I found out about our new privileges which are as follows 7.100-7.200 Secondary 20 dBW (ERP) A1A, A2A, A3E, R3E, H3E, J2B, J3E, J2F F1B, F2B, F3E, G1B I queried ERP since giving ERP with no actual reference in this context is meaningless. I suggested with reference to a dipole which was oked by the regulator (as opposed to 100w EiRP which would be ~50w to a dipole ). I didn't however think he would have gone for 100w with reference to a full size 7 ele Yagi so I didn't ask ;-) -- Brendan Minish EI6IZ _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [email protected] You must be a subscriber to post to the list.
