Objet: Rép : [Elecraft] Anyone using a K2 for RX and another TX?

Hi,

I'm panning to build another K2 (just the basic kit at the beginning) for listening, while the other one is able to TX and RX at 100W.... I only want K2 in my shack now.... I sold all my rigs last summer... TS-2000, FT-897 and FT-817.... Am I crazy.... deninitly not !!! :-)

Long live to Elecraft !!!

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone is using the K2 just for the receiver and using some other transmitter with it in a transceive mode. Most of us probably (had or ) still have one of the big 4 name transceivers and I was thinking about using the K2 in conjunction with another radio to take advantage of the 100W power or AM mode.

Your thoughts are appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
