George The fact that you don't hear anything diferent with the KNB2 turned on doesn't mean it isn't working. It just means that the kind of noise it is designed for isn't happening just then.
Some fellows have used an electric drill as a noise source to test their blankers. This gives the pulse type noises that the blanker works best on. Try that and see if you can tell on from off.
