Tap MENU, and use the BAND buttons or turn the tuning knob to find STl(sidetone level). If you don't see it, press/hold DISPLAY to switch to the PRI menu and you'll find it. When you find it, you'll hear the sidetone. Turn the tuning knob to adjust the level. The sidetone level is independent of the AF or RF gain control positions.
