For my GMT logging, at Walmart I bought an LCD alarm clock with big numbers for time and date. Too bad there's no stock number on it. Placing the clock on the K2 top cover just behind the speaker grill, I discovered a couple db increase in audio and a flattening of audio response near the CW tone frequency. It was easier to hear CW. A better acoustic match? Blocked reflections from the wall behind? Experimentally the effect can be replicated with cupped hands or other objects to suggest a design for a simple reflector/horn made of wood.
