This is a portable set that comes with a carrying case. They fit lightly over the ears so it comfortable and I can still hear others (XYL etc) in the house. SSB sounds better than on with a $10 pair of Sony headphones. However..... CW quality sounds about the same as on the less expensive pair. In general for 40 bucks its a great deal and a good trade off with price.....
