I just finished K1 #1966. I hadn't touched a soldering gun since about 1972 when I built a Heathkit HW 16. The K1 took me just under 30 hours with the 4-band filter board and the ATU. I'm contemplating building a K2 (I'm finding building is addictive -- they should call it "Ele-crack") and I'm curious about what kind of build time to expect. I'd be doing the 100W SSB version with the external ATU.
