I have spent a day trying to configure my Mac PowerBook G4 via a
RIGblaster plus to key my K2 for CW transmission.
The program I am using is MultiMode v 5.4.0 The RIGblaster is jumper
configured for Elecraft. I have tried transmitting by the "Key Out" on
the RIGblaster to "Key" on the K2, and also using the microphone input
through the RIGblaster. No luck either way.
Receiving is no problem. Transmit is the rub. I have read the notes
from the MultiMode web site (carefully, I think) but no joy. There is
one somewhat grey area for me and that is in regard the port setting in
preferences in MultiMode.
As I said in the subject line, this is a long shot, but I thought that
somewhere out in that wonderful knowledge base known as the Elecraft
reflector there just might be someone who has my answer and can tell me
what I overlooked.
Even this temporary setback cannot dim my pleasure with the K2.
