Gents,

I don't quite understand why someone would want to change the RIT/XIT range of 
the K1.

Since the K1 does not have dual VFO's if you want to work split the RIT/XIT is all you've got. Seems to me that the capability to work split is more important than having a narrow RIT range.

Each unto their own . . .
