Andrew, It might make a small difference, but you can work around it - assume the crystal set is 3.7 (the most common) and set the BFO frequencies initially from that setting. - Those values will work but possibly will not be optimum. After you have a functioning receiver, you can use Spectrogram to set the BFO frequencies so that the center of the passband is at your chosen sidtone pitch and all will be well.
