Group all the caps-n-resistors by powers of 10 1000uf 100uf 10uf 1uf .1uf .o1uf 100picofarads 1 ohm 10ohm 100ohm 1k ect. Have you buddy parts sorter do the checklist, while you read of the values and lightly pencil through the list. PART SORTING is boring and mistakes are made with fatigue. Your friend can double check boxes for stuckparts for example.
