There was one. It was around the time of the first EQP. I started the
Elecraft CW Net to let the folks who were not licensed to use voice ;) get
together and exchange reports. It seemed a natural fit to me: Elecraft
rig <=> CW net.
When the bands are capable of supporting long distance voice reliably
enough to allow a net I think one will form of its own accord.
