The generator may well be a good buy. I must caution however against the use of
inverters to produce the AC.I have tried several in a small motor caravan (=US
motorhome) for contest use, primarily in powering a laptop.In all case the RF
noise produced made band reception, HF and 144 useless. Festooning the
inverters with ferrites and capacitors made no difference. I now use, when
permittedby the contest rules, a gasolene driven AC generator.
