Jack,

Welcome to the K3 family. I got mine in early January (Serial #3799). But, I
can't imagine using the same radio for 22 years. Of course, my total ham radio
operator time is only 7 years: one year as a Novice in 1965/1966 and 6 years
as a Extra beginning in 2004. But, I am looking forward to the K3 to be
eclipsed by something even better from Elecraft in the future and while I am
waiting I will probably absorb most of the new gizmos that they come out with
like the P3, future KPA500, etc. I am waiting for my P3 to arrive now.

So, when you hear me on 3970 KHz, I am on my K3.

73, phil, K7PEH
