I think you'd d**n well better want to see US manufacturing survive! An economy based on the financial "products" [aka snake oil] produced by the kids in red suspenders on Wall Street is a house of cards, a recipe for disaster. Nor can it generate enough worthwhile employment for the population. Future generations will look back on the outsourcing of US manufacturing jobs, the dismantling of a very large chunk of your economy for short-term gain, and shake their heads in amazement that the perpetrators were allowed to get away with it.
