On 2/22/10 W9AC posted his ckt for modifying a D104 with a K3.
http://72.52.250.47/images/D104.jpg Having the MPF-102 and some resistors I built the the circuit including Rg and Rs. After sorting out a hum problem I find that the ckt works quite well with my K3. With mic gain set at 7 and comp set at 16 I also set the MIC SEL in the main menu to FP:H. The audio sounds good when in the Tx test mode. I did set the Tx EQ to lower the mids and increase the highs to suit my voice. I have not been on SSB much lately but I need to give this "new mic" a try. The D104 is back in service again and looks great on the operating desk. Try it you'll like it but remember ymmv. Gene, W2BXR K3 1188
