The K3 Frequency Memory Editor requires the Windows .Net framework (2.0). It can be installed from
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=0856eacb-4362-4b0d- 8edd-aab15c5e04f5&displaylang=en The setup.exe and K3FreqMemoryEditor.msi files should be in the same directory. Setup.exe looks for it there. It appears that we currently require Windows Installer 3.1 or later. I'll see if I can influence that. Windows Installer 3.1 is an Windows 2000 and later product, Installer 2.0 is available for Windows 98 SE. Can you try installing Windows Installer 2.0 from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=cebb acd8-c094-4255-b702-de3bb768148f I'll do some poking around to see if I can offer a Windows 98 SE version. I hope it is possible. I unzipped in my own temporary directory (nonstandard name) and double-clicked setup.exe as instructed. Is there some special place where the .msi file should be placed? I believe that I already have some .msi files here and there from other downloads. I do not have "DotNet" installed, as I have never needed it.
