I cannot reference this, but I understand there is a difference in sensitivity of the two systems, ie minimum discernable signal, so that should be on your list; also dynamic range or do I mean third order intercept?
Don't forget there are several panadaptors out there like Perseus and they all have a price/performance ratio.
