I heard him work you! I never got through the pileup with my pathetic little sloper... But it would have been nice to have the P3 capability, maybe I could have found a better spot to call.
Makes me want one -- but I really have to get a KRX3, too, so I can use the new fast QSK in split mode. I found that at 30 WPM, I couldn't really hear him coming back between the elements of my characters using the "normal" QSK. Looks like I need the fast QSK. Most DX seems to ask for QSX "up" somewhere between 1 and 2 kHz. I don't know if the promised "XIT/RIT of a few hundred Hz" is going to be enough for the way most DX stations operate; it depends on how many hundreds "a few" is. If "a few" is like 200-300 Hz, it looks like the KRX3 is a real must for serious DXing, at least in the absence of a P3.
