Just completed my third K3/100 build (this one is actually mine!), and 
like the other 2, this one had a speaker buzz (not heard through 
headphones) at audio frequencies around 300 hz on CW, but this one 
seemed worse.  I fixed it by:

1.  Lining the lip and inside of the speaker shield with one layer of 3M 
electrical tape.  This removed ~80% of the buzz.
2.  Putting a 1" long piece of same tape over the middle of the top edge 
of both sides of the KPA3 module shield.  This put tape between the top 
edge of the shield and the top cover of the K3. This removed the 
remainder of the buzz, and I now have clean CW tones through the speaker!
