Hi Ron, I'm pretty much done with my testing on decoding PSK31. Using the method I tried, now I don't have to use the CW mode to help spot the right frequency to tune to in data mode. I trained my ear to recognize the 1010 Hz spotting tone that Lyle, KK7P, pointed out. And it's been much more successful since. And, I'm pretty impressed at how well the K3 can pick out weak signals and decode them. Next step is for me try it out on our next camping trip.
