Mine is also on top of the K3, and I like it in that position for casual operating. I built a glass shelf unit that will accommodate 3 tiers of K3 sized units with a little room to spare both horizontally and vertically plus a smaller space underneath for paddle, RX antenna controller, etc. On the shelf above the K3 I have the P3 and LP-100A. This arrangement works nicely.
