Well, it's still doing the freeze. I have found it in the "freeze" state 4 times while I'm not operating, This remains a big mystery. I've also had it freeze up while Txing 3 times. Obviously RF. Conditions: P3 on left side of K3, powered off the K3. Using supplied cables. FW - 00.32 K3 FW - 04.05 My plan of attack is: 1. power P3 from external supply. 2. put ferrites on the K3/P3 cables. All the other cables already have them. 3. If the condition is still there, move P3 to right of K3. 4. If the condition is still there, PUNT!!! (Any ideas??)

To answer everyone that responded I'm using .031. A power off/on brings it back to life. It stops when I transmit, but only while I transmit. de K2GN - Larry - http://k2gn.com K3 S/N - 3278 P3 S/N - 51 ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html No virus found in this incoming message.
