Thanks for the reply Alan. The data rate in the logging software had been changed somehow when I installed the P3. Reset the rate to 38.4 and all is well.

By any chance do you have P3 Utility or K3 Utility running at the same time as the logging program? They can't both use the same COM part at the same time.
