My K3 arrived today. I noticed that the MAIN VFO tuning knob is a little stiff for my liking. I also hear a rubbing sound behind the knob, but in front of the Plexigals panel. Is there any easy adjustment to allow the knob to spin more freely? Is there a drag tension control somewhere? All of my ICOM radio have adjustments for tension.
I believe there is a "felt" pad behind the main VFO knob as well as the SUB VFO knob. The SUB VFO knob turns more easily. There is a slight rubbing sound behind the SUB VFO also.
