I may be further taking us off topic here but yuppie stands for something = young urban professional... Most hams aren't young, you cant have antennas in an urban environment, and when's the last time you say someone wear a suit to a hamfest? I feel like I am channeling Indigo Montoya here :-P. The word you are probably looking for is closer to hipster, though most hams dont qualify for that either, perhaps fanboi is a better choice.
