I suspect I have. Several times I was caught off guard by what I was hearing and I believe it was a longer tone from the confirmation beep. I think it was when toggling back and forth between CW-nor and CW-rev for zero beating (SPOT doesn't get close enough for me most of the time) so I was confused between the toggling tones of the incoming signal and the unexpected behavior of the confirmation beep. Since then I have turned off the beep.
