Sir: To my knowledge, all TenTec rigs that ran 100 watts always used a tiny reed relay to switch the antenna from xmit to recv. Only their low power rigs used pin diode switching for this. The little relay was so quiet that you had to put your ear on the cabinet to hear it however and it caused a lot of folks to believe none was present. How about a nice HW-16? No relay!
