If you really want to add " RTTY for Dummies" and really get down to basics, I would add the initial first steps - connect the computer soundcard line out to the K3 line in, and connect the computer line in to the K3 line out - both using stereo cables with 3.5mm plugs on each end.
After that, do the steps that Bill indicated.
