To ALL, I originally ordered my Elecraft K3 Kit back on Jan 19, 2008 and at that time I was a Ham with a Technician license.
I ordered the following components: K3/100 Kit; KAT3 ATU Kit; KFL3A-6K 8 Pole Filter; KFL3B-FM 7 Pole Filter for FM; and a MH2-R Hand Held Mic. I have since attained my General license and wonder if I need any other components, now or later ? I received my K3 Kit on June 18,2008 because of the Elecraft backlog. I had some big medical problems back then and did not work on the Kit. I solved my medical problems and I am now about to start working on the kit, and of course a lot of good things have happened in the Elecraft family since I received my kit. My question: Is there any thing I should be doing different from the Assembly Manual I received back in 2008 ( Rev D, December 26, 2007) I did download the latest Assembly Manual Rev L1, June 18,2010 because someone suggested that Color Pictures would help in the construction. I don't know if I have access to all of the Errata sheets for the Assembly Manual and/or what is on Elecraft's Web site is current and complete I recently purchased a LPPan for a Panadapter view and ordered from Elecraft a KXV3A IF Out to support that equipment. I am asking for whatever pre guidance, suggestions and Ideas you fellow's can provide as I start to build this kit. Any help and Ideas from Elecraft Individuals would also be great.
