We have now released revision 1.02 of the K144XV firmware. As I mentioned in an earlier posting, this version turns off the K144XV's microprocessor clock in receive mode. In our lab tests, and based on customer reports, this eliminates many if not all of the audible spurious signals heard on the 2-m band.
This should be particularly useful if you're using the K144XV for weak- signal SSB/CW work.
