Doug, There had been an issue with the P3 not receiving band update information from the K3 under certain conditions (e.g. when K3 bands were turned off with the band map) but that was fixed several revisions ago in K3 firmware.
Also, a new version of K3 beta firmware (4.14) has just been released that fixes the issue of the REV button causing the P3 to quit tracking the K3 frequency.
